Shattered Pixel Dungeon on the play canvas

16 October 2026 · protocol · 3 min read

The second card opened on 16 October 2026 was Shattered Pixel Dungeon, developer Shattered Pixel, bundle id com.shatteredpixel.shatteredpixeldungeon. The blurb calls it a roguelike dungeon crawler RPG that is simple to get into but hard to master. The check below uses only the listing, not a play session.

  1. Step 1. Separate the star line from the purchase badge

The header average is 4.8 from 173K reviews. That is the highest average among the four cards on this easel, which is a comparison of printed numbers, not a verdict that the game is the one to install. Everyone 10+ is followed by Fantasy Violence, Mild Blood, and In-Game Purchases. The developer row also carries the badge In-app purchases. The card is free to install. It does not carry a Contains ads badge in the header we read.

Star buckets printed beside the average: 144,002 at 5 stars, 10,510 at 4, 2,304 at 3, 2,135 at 2, and 3,669 at 1. The easel keeps both the rounded 173K and these bucket counts. It does not “correct” either figure so they match.

  2. Step 2. Take the category and the date, and leave size alone

Updated on is 7 October 2026. The category word is Role Playing. Unlike Mindustry, this card did not print an “Available on” device pair in the block we copied, so no device list is invented. File size and version number were not in the about lines we used. A dungeon crawler’s download weight is exactly the sort of fact people expect, and it is exactly the sort of fact this card withheld.

The preview still is the first screenshot on the card. It is shown whole. The icon is the square from the same listing. Rank NO. 2 on the homepage is the open order, not a claim that 4.8 outranks 4.2 as a recommendation.

  3. Step 3. Write the data-safety sentences in their own words

The summary says no data is shared with third parties. It then says the app may collect Location, App activity, and App info and performance. Data is encrypted in transit. The deletion line says data can’t be deleted. That last sentence is sharper than the Brawl Stars and Subway Surfers cards, which say a visitor can request deletion. The difference is filed, not smoothed over.

Shattered Pixel is not this easel. Google Play is where the install happens. A later patch that changes the 7 October 2026 date will need its own note.

The 5M+ band matches Mindustry’s band and nothing else in the set. Sharing a band does not make the cards the same kind of listing: one header is silent on purchases, this one is not, and the category words are Strategy and Role Playing. The still on the rank card is there so the icon is not the only artwork a reader sees before they leave for Play.

What to expect is a free role-playing card with a purchase badge, an Everyone 10+ line that mentions mild blood, a 4.8 average, a 5M+ download band, and a data-safety block that names three collection types and says deletion is not available.
